“We absolutely loved spending the afternoon getting to know Catarina and Birgitta! Our goal in this experience was to get the chance to meet some local Swedes and our hosts are we absolutely charming, hospitable and thoughtful. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely walking tour through part of Stockholm on our way to Fika. Catarina shared fascinating history about Stockholm and her experiences here. Our Fika was a lovely selection of homemade cookies, tarts, breads, soup and more! The ladies even sent home some extras for my son that wasn’t on the tour. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to get to know two lovely locals to try this experience or the dinner that they host. Brilliant time!”

“We recently had the pleasure of joining Catarina and Birgitta for a truly special experience as a family of three. From the start, they were such warm and welcoming hostesses, making us feel right at home. They thoughtfully accommodated our dietary requirements and even made sure our 5-year-old daughter had a fun activity—making cookies! She absolutely loved it, and it made the experience even more special for us. We began with a lovely walk led by Catarina, who shared insights that only a local would know. It was special to have conversations with her—Catarina was so warm and welcoming, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoys offering her hospitality and knowledge to visitors. After the walk, we visited Birgitta’s home, where we enjoyed a wonderful soup and Fika over some story sharing and more nice conversations. The homemade Fika delicacies were amazing – I even asked for the recipes! Overall, it was a day filled with memorable moments, wonderful people, and delicious food.”

“My sister and I had this experience on our first full day in Stockholm so it was a nice introduction to the city with a personal touch. Catarina is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We spent time at Birgitta's apartment, which is quite unusual for strangers to have such access. We enjoyed every minute of it. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely for you - plenty of home-made cookies and cakes - all delicious! Highly recommended activity.”

We were with 2 English speakers and she switched from English to French all the time so that everyone understood and she didn't skimp on the explanations, we learned a lot.
